Salam. My name is Samira. This is my story. I am the Muslim daughter of an Egyptian man and an American woman. I was raised in America and have had very few links to my Egyptian side. I was raised Muslim. My beliefs are a part of me, but they are not all of me. I have struggled my whole life to live as a Muslim in America. I have always been looking for a community of American-Muslim girls to help and inspire me. I have decided to MAKE this community myself. You don’t have to be American to join.
